Turret:
Info: This weapon is always equipped. It does 20 Points of damage on a direct hit. It has no area effect damage and little terrain deformation.
Strategies: It is best to aim for the rear with this weapon. Usually, when this is the weapon you are equiped with, the opponent also is. Remember, this weapon has very limited ammo, so make each shot count. If you aim for the rear and your opponent doesn't, you will win such a battle of attrition.
Defense: Find a better weapon!

Air Strike:
Info: This weapon drops 10 projectiles from high altitude each doing 40 damage. It has moderate area effect.
Strategies: Only use this weapon when you can make out details of the enemy tank (400 or so meters away in game, display settings are range 250, 500, and 1000 meters). If you use it from further away you are not likely to have enough bomb hits to destroy any enemies. You need 2-3 bomb hits to destroy a full health tank.
Defense: Run...erratically. If you move straight the bombs will hit you. You can also try hiding over a hill.

Avenger (GAU):
Info: This weapon is an effective sniping and close combat weapon that does 6 damage for every 11 shots fired. It has no area effect.
Strategies: This weapons is best used when targeting the rear of the tank. Its extreamly fast fire rate means that you will do substatial damage no matter what. For long range sniping take a couple of practive shots to see where you are aiming. Once you have the target in the fire zone, strike to kill. Remember to use the terrain to your advantage in altering its vertical angle.
Defense: For close range combat, keep the enemy tank angled so that they can't get a shot at you. Flip them or destroy them with a more powerful weapon. At long range make sure you keep moving. If you are sitting or climbing a hill you will wind up being unable to dodge a long range sniper.

Concussion
Concussion:
Info: This weapon is a direct attack missile that does 30 damage. Its only area effect is to knock an enemy away.
Strategies: If you are going to use this, make sure that you hit the target. Its a powerful weapon if you aim right. Improperly aimed you will usually knock the target away from the path of any follow up missiles.
Defense: Simply try to get knocked arround and avoid any direct hits. This isn't an easy weapon to aim, take advantage of that. This weapon can kill in 3-4 direct hits. As defence using this weapon, use its concussion effect to knock other tanks away.

Cruise Missle:

Close up picture of weapon.
Info: This weapon is a fully tracking, groud following missile that does 120 points of damage. You can only survive it if you have full health and get hit on the front of the tank.
Strategies: Two methods to use it: A) Fire randomly. This method you might or might not hit a target you can kill...but usually gives you a free kill. B) You can see your target first. Here you will almost always hit what you planned to hit. Either method work...but the later method insures a quick kill rather than one 30 seconds later.
Defense: There really isn't any good defence. You can't outrun it. You don't know its coming. If you see one circling its probably not going after you. If you see one just barely miss your tank...start running in circles with erratic course changes. You might be lucky enough to have the missle miss you on its return. P.S. - you will hear this weapon coming.

Dirt Ball
Dirt Ball:
Info: This weapon is one of the most fun to use. It is turret mounted and does 40 points of damage with a decent area effect.
Strategies: Use this weapon to flip the enemy! Its fire rate is a little slow but there is nothing more demoralizing than being killed while your tank is upside down. Have fun!
Defense: Try to avoid getting fliped. Its a powerful weapon you have to avoid but from mid to long range it can be done and fairly easily.

Heavy Flamer
Info: This is a powerful weapon 20 damage with rapid fire, short range projectiles. There is a significant area effect, but it does not cover a large region arround the weapon's hit.
Strategies: Use in confined combat at close range and whether you attack the front or the rear of the enemy you usually win. It is one of the most powerful weapons in the game, but it is limited by a very short range. If you are angled upward, this weapon is able to go a longer distance. If you do plan to discharge it, be aware of its area effect damage.
Defense: Keep the enemy tank away from you. This weapon works best at close range, though it goes a moderate distance if used properly. If you get into close combat with this tank you will be toast. Since this weapon is body mounted if you can keep your enemy facing the wrong way you will have the advantage.

Heavy Machine Gun:
Info: This is a very effective weapon that does 3 points of damage. It has no area effect.
Strategies: Use the turret. If you can aim properly (especially if you can aim at the rear) you can take down almost any tank no matter what weapon they have.
Defense: Stay mobile, and hit with every shot you can. The best way to win against one thats good with the turret is a frontal assualt - you will take heavy damage, but with a more powerful weapon you will win.

Laser:
Info: This weapon does 10 points of damage and is very effecive at shooting through hills.
Strategies: Great at sniping, although limited ammo. Remember that a small hill only stops this weapon about 50% of the time. Once you are targeting the enemy, keep firing until they die.
Defense: Keep mobile. This weapon is not effeced by inertia at all so if both tanks are moving different directions, its a hard weapon to hit with. Also, try to stay to the side of the laser tank where their aim is worst.

Mass Driver:
Info: This is a snipers only weapon. It does 50 damage on direct strikes only.
Strategies: This weapon works at all ranges. If you hit a tank it will go flying. You will do substantial damage. It is however only for players with extreamly good aim. Note: In version 1.0 this weapon does have a range limit that makes it ineffective at extreame ranges.
Defense: Just keep moving. Its hard to aim with this weapon so if you keep moving you just make the aiming part harder...

Matter Missle:

Close up of the Matter Missle
Info: This weapon has one definition: Destroys everything at its impact point and leaves a huge mound of dirt.
Strategies: Don't fire into a hill. Fire either at a group of tanks going at each other (gets 2-20 kills) or into the air almost directly vertically (gets 1-3 kills). P.S - never get a super ammo with this weapon, the reload time is about a minute.
Defense: Run over a hill and hope the missle hits the hill. It is possible to outrun this weapon, but extreamly hard to do. P.S. - you will hear this weapon coming.

Multiple Rocket Launcher (MRL):
Info: This weapon is semi-tracking and does 30 points of damage on each hit with a powerful area effect. It is medium range at most.
Strategies: This weapon fires into the air at a decent angle so in order to hit close targets you need to prop yourself onto a blast hole or hill. For medium range targets simply point and shoot. You'll almost always kill if you have decent aim. This weapon works well firing over hills.
Defense: There is little defence against this weapon. Just realize that the area of optinum effect is mid ranged. If you pull to close or run to far this weapon has a much lower chance of damaging you.

Info: This weapon has one definition: Destroys everything at its impact point and leaves a huge crater.

Plasma Cannon:
Info: This weapon weapon is a powerful direct attack weapon with minimal area damage that does 60 points of damage.
Strategies: Here you have to deal with extreamly low fire rate. If you are not in battle, discharge all but 2 shots so you have quick reload after the second fire with your main tank gun. Make every shot count. If you can't aim, this isn't the weapon for you. This weapon needs 2 hits to kill most tanks when targeting the rear of the tank. 3 hits if targeting the front. You want to make the first 2 shots count then finish off your target with the tank gun...the reload time is too long for a battle any other way.
Defense: Make the enemy miss (erratic driving, dirtballs, cuncussion missiles, etc). Once the enemy misses you've got a 5 seconds to take advatage of their mistake before they can fire again.

Plasma Mine:
Info: This weapon drops mines that do 60 points of damage and will not effect the tank that dropped them until a full second after they were discharged.
Strategies: Hope your enemy is stupid. Drop these in locations that use both the terrain and weapon spawn points to your advantage.
Defense: Pay attention to where you are going and hope you don't spawn over a mined tank spawn point.

Ramdrill:
Info: This is a close range weapon and is very difficult to use effectively. It does 20 points of damage, direct hit only.
Strategies: Never go one on one with another tank unless you have the element of surprise. Almost any weapon can knock you away if they see you coming with a ramdrill. It is very effective in a mass confussion situation, however, I have seen 5 tanks that were duking it out suddenly turn on the Ramdriller as soon as one spotted the Drill!
Defense: Use a weapon with a good "Push" or "Kick" to knock the Driller away. If you don't have one, back up and pound the individual until he dies - just make sure he stays out of range.

Rocket Grenades:
Info: Rocket grenades are heavily effected my your movement. They do 15 points of damage and have a very small amount of splash damage.
Strategies: Swarm your opponent with them. They are bested used in mass since they are easy to avoid individually. Also, they are very effective at shooting over hills since they follow the ground.
Defense: You can always hear when they are launched and they don't move that fast unless the opponet is ramming you, thus they are usually easy to avoid.

Shadow:
Info: This is one of the most powerful weapons in the game. It does 10 points of damage with a 66% chance of spewing itself again each times there is a successful hit.
Strategies: Get in close, fire a couple of shots and wait. If the enemy isn't dead, fire a couple more shots...you'll kill very rapidly. Make sure to get the super ammo power ups.
Defense: Hope...run...hide...find a long range weapon (MRL, Mass, Nuke, Matter, Cruiser) and kill them at range, then grab the Shadow and do what they were doing.

Swarmer:
Info: This weapon is turret mounted. Each missle fired does 15 points of damage.
Strategies: This is a close range only weapon. Use your turret to your advantage and strike swiftly. Because it fires so rapidly, missed shots don't matter as much. And since its missles spiral quite a lot, missed shots will happen.
Defense: You can't dodge all the shots from this weapon. Try to destroy your target at long range before the swarmer's advantage at close range takes effect.

Wasp:
Wasp:
Info: This weapon fires 10 missles a shot that do 8 points of damage. It has enough ammo for 4 shots.
Strategies: Use this weapon from mid to long range. Its tracking so firing from short range doesn't give the missles the time to track their target. Make sure you fire slightly up and there are no hills in the way. It usually takes 2 to 3 shots to kill an enemy.
Defense: Force the enemy to close range is the best way to avoid the most damage from this weapon. Its hard to avoid all damage when a good opponent is using it so you want to minimize the weapon's damage...
